Paralegal or Business and Real Estate Transaction Professional The candidate will support all aspects and stages of real estate transactions and business entity creation and maintenance, with an emphasis on document preparation, due diligence review, closing logistics coordination, post-closing administration, and business entity management. Draft and prepare documents for closings, entity creation, entity maintenance, entity dissolution, and more. Documents may include purchase and sale agreements, amendments, closing documents, easement documents, declarations, CC&Rs, letters of credit, deeds, corporate formation documents, annual reports, annual meeting minutes, dissolution documents, and the like. Develop professional relationships within and outside the firm to achieve continuity and quality work product for clients. Create systems to track and manage transactions for clients.
The candidate should have 5+ years of real estate or business entity-related experience, including several years of related experience with real estate transactions or business entity management. Must have strong PC skills with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, DocuSign, and Outlook) as well as the ability to learn and use proprietary computer systems and databases. Experience supporting and closing transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and developments is strongly desired. Should have outstanding social skills, a dedication to professionalism, integrity, and collegiality, and the ability to work on a wide range of legal matters. Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential.
