Job Title: Legal Case Manager

Job Responsibilities:

- Working and maintaining client cases in Case Management Software.
- Preparing and sending letters of representation.
- Obtaining police reports/incident reports.
- Obtaining driver records.
- Obtaining cell phone records.
- Handling property damage claims.
- Making Open Records Requests for reports, dash cam and body camera videos from law enforcement.
- Verifying insurance and setting up liability, personal injury protection, uninsured/underinsured, and health insurance claims.
- Sending out Preservation Notices to adverse carriers and defendants.
- Setting up inspections, if needed.
- Drafting client correspondence.
- Communicating with clients to determine medical provider information.
- Maintaining client contact to determine treatment status.
- Obtaining a health insurance or Medicaid/Medicare statement of payments made on behalf of the client and ensuring they relate to the accident.
- Obtaining lien or subrogation information and updating Case Management Software.
- Preparing demand letters for liability, personal injury protection, and uninsured/underinsured.
- Assisting with follow-up calls to adjusters.
- Scheduling regular monthly file reviews with attorneys.
- Preparing settlement breakdowns.
- Assisting with obtaining reductions.
- Assisting the Paralegal and Attorney.
- Preparing Binders with Discovery materials.
- Preparing Binders in preparation for a hearing, deposition, or mediation.
- Properly disposing of confidential materials.
- Saving and adding invoices to expenses in case management software.
- Saving E-filings and E-service files and posting them on case management software.

Education and Experience Information:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury law.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong analytical skills.
- Power user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Familiarity with Case Management software is a plus.
- Organized.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Speak Spanish.
