As a Legal Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with assigned attorneys in a team environment, interacting daily with clients and potential new clients to understand their needs and provide clarity for assigned attorney directions. You will also handle a variety of tasks, including obtaining police reports, setting up insurance claims, managing client complaints and property damage issues, and maintaining organized files.
To be successful in this role, you must have superb organizational and time management skills, be able to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity, and be able to work well under pressure and adhere to deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as problem-solving abilities, are also necessary. A high school diploma or GED is required, and previous law office or customer service experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software and office equipment are also desired. A valid driver's license and good driving record are necessary.
