**Members Only** US LLP, a global law firm, is seeking a highly experienced Director, Legal Recruitment to lead and develop the recruitment support structures and resources required to enhance the ability of the US region to attract and successfully recruit lateral partners in alignment with the firm’s strategy for growth. This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer with dotted line responsibility to the Chief Executive Officer and can be based in any of **Members Only**’ US offices, with a preference for New York and Washington, DC.
Key Responsibilities:
Define, develop and lead implementation of best practice, policy and procedure for partner, lateral and student recruitment.
Manage and execute all legal recruitment, including summer associate program, contract attorney hiring, paralegal hiring and occasional intern hiring.
Collaborate with US leadership, practice area heads and various Firm departments to fulfill recruitment requirements.
Manage and develop the recruitment team.
Monitor trends and innovations in partner and lateral recruitment practices, making recommendations and implementing new processes and policies.
Act as a key advisor to US leadership on all recruitment matters.
Work closely with search firms in key geographic markets.
Ensure recruitment process aligns with the firm’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion strategy.
Other duties as assigned to meet the requirements of the position.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in strategic recruitment leadership roles within a multi-office professional services organization.
Legal experience preferred.
Strong relationships with outside search firms in key markets.
Significant expertise in partner recruitment best practices.
Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders with confidence.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
Demonstrated success in managing and developing a team.
Responsive, analytical and business-minded.
High level of emotional intelligence and intellectual ability.
Consultative and service-oriented approach to recruitment.
Salary Information:
NY and Washington DC only DOE: $215k to $315k DOE
