- As Director, Assistant General Counsel, you will lead a team of lawyers in providing legal support for insurance coverage, claims-related, and enterprise litigation matters.
- This is a hybrid role, with 3 days on-site at various locations including Chevy Chase, MD; New York, NY; and Cleveland, OH.
- You will report directly to the Vice President of Enterprise Litigation and Investigations.
- Your key responsibilities will include identifying and implementing new solutions, tracking performance with key metrics, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring and developing your team.
- The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree and at least 7 years of experience in claims legal function.
- The annual salary range for this position is $156,000 - $274,000, with multiple factors taken into consideration.

- Salary range: $156,000 - $274,000

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree from a recognized, accredited law school
- 7+ years of experience, including claims legal function
- Experience with evaluating and managing reserve adequacy on claims-related litigation
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Strategic judgment and decision-making abilities
- Prior experience managing a team of legal professionals
