A growing litigation-focused law firm in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its General Litigation Practice. The role primarily involves handling family law and estate litigation cases. This position is ideal for a motivated attorney who thrives in a detail-oriented, collaborative environment and is looking to manage a diverse caseload from inception to resolution with minimal supervision.

Duties:
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and client correspondence
Conduct legal research and ensure accuracy in all written materials
Organize and maintain both physical and electronic client files
Manage and monitor legal deadlines and court schedules
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and internal team members
Independently manage litigation cases from start to finish
Participate in meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings as required
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervising attorneys
Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced legal environment
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Experience working collaboratively with legal teams and support staff
Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited . law school
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in the State of Nebraska, or eligible for prompt admission
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Ability to manage case files and legal documentation independently
Familiarity with legal research platforms is a plus
