Duties:

  • Represent clients in workers’ compensation and personal injury matters

  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high-quality client communication

  • Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings, reports, and litigation materials

  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies

  • Attend hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations

  • Collaborate with administrative support staff and legal team

  • Manage case deadlines and legal documentation

Requirements:

  • Licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in Nebraska

  • Prior experience or interest in workers’ compensation

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, legal teams, and opposing counsel

  • Willingness to handle litigation-related tasks including trials or administrative hearings

  • Strong work ethic with a client-focused approach

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Nebraska State Bar (or eligibility for prompt admission)

Skills:

  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and research abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple case files
