Job Title: DOL Legal Internship
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform legal research including analysis of regulations, statutes, and case law.
- Prepare research memoranda.
- Gather information and prepare written reports, charts, and other written materials summarizing information.
- Attend board meetings and administrative hearings.
- Assist Prosecuting Counsel and Hearings Officers with administrative hearings, Board Counsel with board meetings, and the Assistant General Counsel for Public Affairs with responses to public records requests.
- Prepare preliminary drafts of documents such as letters, notices, and reports for review by DOL attorneys.
Education and Experience Information:
- Currently pursuing a . at an accredited United States law school.
- Demonstrated legal research skills and ability to use legal research platforms.

Salary Information:
- Legal Interns will be paid $21 an hour.
Additional Information:
- The internship will take place from September 2025 through December 2025.
- Interns will work 2 - 4 days a week, requiring a minimum of 12 - 20 hours each week.
- Interns are required to work in-office at One Federal Street and will not be permitted to telework.
- Interviews will be conducted virtually.

- The internship provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the Division of Occupational Licensure (DOL), a state government agency.
