Overview:
**Members Only**, a leading law firm specializing in default and creditor's rights, is seeking a highly qualified Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team. We are looking for an experienced attorney licensed to practice law in New York, with a minimum of 3 years of bankruptcy experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bankruptcy laws and procedures, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage high-volume statewide bankruptcy matters, including Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11s.
- Act as a liaison between the firm and clients, vendors, outside counsel, courts, and trustees.
- Draft and review legal documents related to bankruptcy proceedings.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.
- Manage assigned case load in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of New York.
- Minimum of 3 years of bankruptcy experience.
- Experience in real estate, mortgage, and/or commercial litigation preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Proficiency in legal research, writing, and document drafting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards and maintaining client confidentiality.

Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work-from-home schedule.
