Paralegal Supervisor Responsibilities: Manage and oversee casework for assigned clients. Coordinate with paralegal managers and attorneys. Assign casework ensuring an efficient and effective case load and reasonable expectations. Mentor, motivate and manage the performance of paralegals and legal assistants. Inform team of firm policies and procedures. Resolve, or participate in the resolution of issues. Participate in hiring, promotion, discipline and termination of employees. Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to firm management. Support implementation of new tools, process, protocols and policies, to include training others. Perform casework.
Qualifications: 4 years of experience as a buisness immigration paralegal is required. Ability to influence others positively. Demonstrate exceptional client service skills. Analytical skills. Listening skills. Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and apply acquired learning consistently. Ability to take instruction and correction in a professional manner. Demonstrate reliability in their work schedule and work product. Ability to effectively instruct others with patience, providing straightforward instructions to help others grasp complex tasks and concepts. Ability to make uncomfortable decisions and hold others accountable for their performance in a professional manner. Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills with English-speaking clients including the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with clients that including C-Suite executives and nationally and internationally recognized authorities. Possess empathy and compassion for clients, understanding the demands and pressures of their personal and professional immigration issues. Answer client and staff questions with a firm understanding of the ethical rules for communications from a non-attorney to clients/prospective clients. Be proficient, or possess the ability to easily become proficient, in various technology utilized by the firm from our case management system to productivity applications such Microsoft Office and ClickUp, demonstrating enthusiasm and initiative to acquire new technological skills quickly. Process a high volume of cases and works on cases of increasing complexity ensuring a high-quality work product while meeting deadlines. Be a supportive member of our team who contributes to a positive work environment. Communicate effectively and proactively information people need to know to do their jobs so they can produce accurate work and make decisions based on all available facts.
