Job Title: Business Litigation Associate (4-6 Years of Experience)
Job Responsibilities:
The Business Litigation Associate will be responsible for handling complex litigation matters within the Business Litigation practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough research and writing for various legal matters.
- Drafting pleadings and preparing discovery responses.
- Collecting documents and drafting motions in complex business litigation cases.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Participating in arbitrations and trials, as well as engaging in appellate work.
- Working directly with clients to address their litigation needs.
- Collaborating with a team to approach new challenges with energy and enthusiasm.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should possess strong academic credentials and have 4-6 years of experience in complex litigation. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Experience in drafting pleadings, preparing discovery responses, and handling complex business litigation matters.
- Experience in taking and defending depositions, arbitrations, trials, or appellate work is advantageous.
- Former federal judicial clerkship experience is highly valued.
- Applicants must be admitted, or eligible to become admitted, to practice in Minnesota. Other bar admissions are considered a plus.
Salary Information:
The Minneapolis salary range for this position is between $210,000 and $235,000 annually. Compensation will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
