Job Title: Senior Immigration Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Research law, investigate facts, and prepare documents and applications to assist assigned attorneys.
- Serve as the client's point of contact for each assigned matter, ensuring effective communication and case management.
- Establish and organize case files, monitor calendars, meet deadlines, and document actions and client communications.
- Input information into the file database and confirm case status with the attorney.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to inform them of case progress.
- Assist assigned attorneys with trial preparation.
- Answer phones and emails promptly, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Attend all assigned client meetings, both in person and telephonically.
- Track the status of client filings and prepare and draft filings to relevant federal and state agencies.
- Prepare and compose motions and routine correspondence, acting as a liaison to court personnel.
- Complete indexes, pleadings, exhibits, checklists, motions, and legal research for litigation proceedings.
Education and Experience Information:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree with two years of legal experience or Associate Degree with three years of legal experience.
- Certification: Paralegal Certificate is preferred.
- Experience: Two years of immigration experience and two years of customer service experience.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English/Spanish/Portuguese is preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strict adherence to legal confidentiality requirements.

- Must be a motivated self-starter, able to work independently and communicate effectively with clients and the legal team.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated history of excellence in their career with a passion for serving clients.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to cross-train for other job functions.
Salary Information:
- From $25 an hour - Full-time
