Law Firm Account Representative needed for busy litigation law firm in Golden Valley, MN. This position offers a competitive salary range of per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of customer service or collections experience, knowledge of FDCPA regulations, and be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
Collect assigned accounts going through the pre-legal and judgment collection process
Recover unpaid account balances and judgments through settlement, payment plans, garnishments, and other means
Manage priority files and effectively communicate with clients and consumers
Set up repayment plans and document all communication and transactions
Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks
Provide excellent customer service and adhere to the Firm's core values
Use judgment and decision making skills to choose the most appropriate actions and make recommendations for client review
Identify and solve complex problems
Utilize technology such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Word Perfect, copier, fax, and scanner
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of customer service or collections experience
Knowledge of FDCPA regulations preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize deadlines and commitments
Self-starter and forward thinker
Professional demeanor
Knowledge of CLS collection software a plus
Typing speed of 75+ WPM
