Job Responsibilities:
The Finance Manager at the law firm is tasked with a comprehensive range of responsibilities that encompass financial oversight, strategic planning, and compliance. Key duties include:

- Overseeing daily activities of a team of Financial Analysts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with firm policies, and fostering professional development among team members.
- Monitoring and analyzing the firm-wide financial performance, focusing on revenue, expense trends, and profitability metrics.
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership and partners, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
- Conducting profitability analysis by department, office, or timekeeper to support informed strategic decisions.
- Leading the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes in collaboration with department heads, ensuring alignment with the firm's financial goals.
- Managing financial planning models and conducting scenario analysis for key initiatives and investments, aiding in long-term planning.
- Partnering with HR and leadership to support attorney compensation modeling and bonus analysis.
- Assisting with long-range planning, including initiatives related to working capital and firm growth.
- Collaborating with IT and operations teams to enhance financial data integrity and reporting capabilities.
- Supporting firm leadership in the development of business cases for operational and strategic initiatives.
- Overseeing financial compliance with internal controls and facilitating internal and external audit processes.

Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position should possess the following qualifications and experience:

- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Advanced credentials such as CPA, CMA, or MBA are preferred, indicating a higher level of expertise and knowledge in financial management.
- A minimum of 5 years of finance experience is necessary, with a preference for candidates who have worked in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills are essential, along with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with law firm financial systems (such as Aderant, Elite 3E) and business intelligence/reporting tools (such as Power BI, Tableau) is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with the technological tools used in financial analysis and reporting.

Salary Information:
The compensation for the Finance Manager position at the law firm is structured as follows:

- The annual salary range is between $150,000 and $190,000. The specific salary offered within this range will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and other operational considerations.
