Job Title: Senior Counsel, Claim

Job Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of higher exposure cases and complex litigation matters.
- Litigate cases to verdict with strong trial skills.
- Specialize in one or more areas of practice.
- Demonstrate strong legal research, writing, and presentation skills.
- Draft substantive pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Build and foster client relationships with a customer-centric focus.
- Mentor other attorneys and legal support staff.
- Provide internal and external training, seminars, and legal updates to clients and Claim partners.
- Offer in-depth, substantive analysis and quality reporting to clients and partners.
- Utilize support staff effectively and adhere to best practices in file handling.
- Use available technology, case management systems, and automation.
- Travel as required for business needs.
- Initiate special projects and identify opportunities to support office goals and business needs.
- Perform other assigned duties.

Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 7 years of litigation practice or prior legal experience.
- Active license in good standing to practice law in the required state(s).
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on location.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Senior Associate/Partner level experience.
- 7+ years of litigation practice or equivalent legal experience.
- Proven trial skills and techniques.

- Strong legal acumen and technical knowledge in practice areas.
- In-depth knowledge of law, bench, bar, local jurisdictional practices, adversaries, and the litigation process.

Salary Information:
- Annual base salary range: $129, – $213,.
- Actual salary determined by factors such as scope, complexity, location, skills, education, training, credentials, experience, and other employment conditions.
- Eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
