H2: Responsibilities and Qualifications

The law firm Cooley is seeking a Practice Group Marketing Specialist (Litigation) to join their marketing team. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits package. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in marketing or business development, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and support marketing and business development plans for assigned practice groups
- Implement short and long-term strategic sales plans to drive revenue for the firm
- Identify and target potential clients for the firm and support marketing initiatives, events, and sponsorships to drive revenue
- Collaborate with practice group leaders and attorneys to communicate sales strategies and tactics
- Execute marketing activities for assigned practice groups, including creating marketing materials, responding to RFPs, and managing events and sponsorships
- Participate in the development and execution of directory and awards submissions
- Manage thought leadership activities, such as speaking engagements, webinars, and whitepapers, to promote the firm's expertise
- Work with the firm's technology systems to support client and business development opportunities
- Other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in marketing or business development
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred
- Knowledge of litigation practice and research tools such as PACER, Monitor Suite, Lex Machina, and Docket Navigator is a plus
