Job Responsibilities:
The Personal Injury Case Manager at the law firm is tasked with managing a high volume of personal injury cases during the pre-litigation phase. The responsibilities include:
- Client communication and onboarding: Establishing and maintaining effective communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and they are informed throughout the process.
- Opening claims with insurance companies: Initiating claims with the relevant insurance entities to begin the settlement process.
- Handling property damage claims: Managing claims related to property damage, ensuring all necessary documentation and evidence are collected and submitted.
- Requesting documents: Obtaining essential documents such as police reports and medical records to support the case.
- Coordinating medical treatment: Ensuring clients receive appropriate medical care and that all treatments are documented for case purposes.
- Communicating with insurance adjusters: Engaging with insurance representatives to negotiate and facilitate settlements.
- Drafting demand letters: Preparing formal requests for compensation based on the client’s injuries and damages, if necessary.
- Understanding and evaluating medical records: Analyzing medical documents to assess the extent of injuries and necessary compensation.
Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in personal injury case management.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
- Familiarity with CASEpeer software is considered a plus, enhancing the candidate's ability to manage cases efficiently.
- A flexible and adaptable nature, capable of handling various tasks and challenges as they arise.
- A proactive attitude towards growth and learning within the firm.
Salary Information:
The compensation for the Personal Injury Case Manager role is between $55,000 and $85,000 per year. The exact pay may depend on the candidate's skills and qualifications. Additionally, the law firm offers a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000, subject to terms and conditions.
