Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Multimedia Marketing Manager is responsible for shaping and executing the multimedia strategy of the law firm, leading a team of creative professionals, and overseeing the production of high-impact multimedia content, including video, audio, and design. The role requires collaboration with the Managing Director of Multimedia Marketing and the Multimedia Marketing Operations Lead to ensure alignment on priorities, strategy, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:
- Driving the multimedia production strategy to support marketing, brand, and firm objectives.
- Providing strong leadership, managing, mentoring, and developing multimedia artists and other direct reports.
- Partnering closely with the Multimedia Marketing Operations Lead to optimize production workflows, resource allocation, and reporting.
- Measuring and reporting on multimedia content performance to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Maintaining deep expertise in multimedia platforms, technologies, best practices, and evolving industry trends.
- Developing a strong understanding of target audiences and key messaging to inform creative direction.
- Collaborating with Brand, Client Development, and Communications teams on concept development, storytelling, and execution.
- Overseeing production schedules and workflows, keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Providing clear direction and feedback to internal teams and external partners to uphold technical and brand standards.
- Coordinating with in-house IT and A/V teams to ensure smooth production and delivery.
- Editing, animating, transcoding, and compressing multimedia content as needed.
- Organizing and maintaining media assets, storyboards, and designs.
- Overseeing the digital asset management system and multimedia archives.
- Managing the upkeep of video production equipment and optimizing in-house studios.
- Scouting, securing, and coordinating shoot locations.
- Maintaining and tracking project budgets.
Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Multimedia Marketing Manager position should have:
- 7-10 years of proven experience in video and multimedia production, with additional experience in major media or large corporate environments preferred.
- Significant experience managing and leading creative teams.
- Proven experience as a strong team leader, with demonstrated ability to mentor, inspire, and develop creative teams.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and time management.
- Advanced knowledge of professional videography equipment, lighting/grip, scriptwriting, live production, and storyboarding.
- Audio expertise, including experience with mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, and recording techniques.
- Mastery of post-production tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud and related software.
- A strong portfolio of multimedia work showcasing a range of video and audio projects.
- Awareness of industry trends and a forward-thinking approach to multimedia strategy and content differentiation.
- Familiarity with B2B marketing environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to all levels of the organization.
- Experience with live-streaming events.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
- Strong project management abilities, including process implementation and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Standard office hours with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
- Travel is approximately 25%, primarily for on-location shoots.
Salary Information:
The target salary range for the Senior Multimedia Marketing Manager position varies by location and is commensurate with relevant experience:
- Boston: $115,800 - $173,700
- Los Angeles: $121,600 - $182,400
- New York: $121,600 - $182,400
- Philadelphia: $108,800 - $163,300
- San Francisco: $129,700 - $194,500
- Santa Monica: $121,600 - $182,400
- Silicon Valley: $129,700 - $194,500
- Washington DC: $115,800 - $173,700
