Job Title: Research Resources & Access Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
The Research Resources & Access Coordinator at the law firm is responsible for supporting the Research Resources team in managing the firm-wide use of digital resources. Key duties include:
- Fulfilling requests for database passwords in accordance with licensing restrictions and access methods.
- Maintaining accurate user lists associated with digital database and newsletter subscriptions using the firm's resource management systems.
- Performing necessary system updates and credentialing related to legal and professional staff arrival and departure workflows.
- Collaborating with the Resources & Access and Acquisitions teams to maintain documentation and protocols for workflows.
- Assisting the Access Analyst with troubleshooting and testing of digital resources and systems.
- Assisting with tasks related to cost recovery, budgeting, and expense tracking.
- Supporting the Resource Acquisition, Access, and Systems Analysts, managers, and directors in all tasks related to the utilization of print and digital research resources.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience with online resources and/or information systems, or in a library setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, OneNote, Teams, and Outlook; knowledge of SharePoint is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of IP authentication and other basic networking protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a high-quality eye for detail.
- Experience working with Integrated Library Systems including OPACs, and with Resource Management applications; familiarity with the Innovative Interfaces platform and/or TRG Quest is a plus.
- A strong service orientation and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary Information:
The salary range for the Research Resources & Access Coordinator position varies by location:
- Chicago, IL: $69, - $110,
- Washington, DC: $72, - $115,
- Seattle, WA: $75, - $120,
- New York, San Francisco, CA, and Silicon Valley, CA: $78, - $125,
The base salary will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on factors such as prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on individual circumstances. Additionally, salary wages may be only part of the total compensation package, which includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and participation in various benefit plans.
The total compensation package also includes:
