Job Responsibilities
The Financial Intelligence Data Analyst is tasked with managing data analytics projects and contributing significantly to the firm's data strategy, driving innovation through advanced analytics techniques. The role involves utilizing tools like Power BI for high-impact analytics and reporting, designing complex dashboards, models, and resolving data integrity issues. The analyst is a central figure in large-scale analytical projects, requiring collaboration with stakeholders to prioritize business issues. Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the implementation of the firm's data strategy, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and security.
- Developing and maintaining data reporting tools and systems using the firm's data analytics platform (Power BI).
- Identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to drive strategic decision-making.
- Developing solutions for process streamlining, enhancing data quality, and driving intelligent solutions.
- Developing predictive models to forecast future trends, client behaviors, and market opportunities.
- Collaborating with different departments (., marketing, finance, legal) to understand their data needs and support data-driven decision-making processes.
Education and Experience Information
Minimum Education
A Bachelor's Degree in Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required.
Certificates
Certifications are not required but are considered an advantage in areas such as data analytics, GenAI, project management, and data visualization.
Minimum Years of Experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, including experience with data modeling, statistical analysis, and processes, is required.
Desired Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large, complex datasets.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
- Experience in report development (SSRS/Power BI Paginated Reporting).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, VBA, and data visualization techniques.
- Experience with advanced statistical methods and data modeling.
- High proficiency in SQL and programming languages (Python/R/VBA) or other relevant programming languages.
- Demonstrated experience in creating complex queries, data manipulation, and automation of data processes.
- Experience with Machine Learning and AI implementation.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing business needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the rapidly changing data environment.
Salary Information
The expected hiring range for this position is $86,650-$120,033, depending on the candidate’s geographic market location. Compensation is also dependent on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. A comprehensive package of benefits is offered, including medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
