Job Title: Global Marketing & Business Development Operations Manager
Job Responsibilities:
The Global Marketing & Business Development Operations Manager is a pivotal role within the law firm's marketing and business development department. This position is responsible for overseeing the operations of The Hub, a central resource providing agile and flexible support across various marketing and business development disciplines. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing The Hub team, comprising four to six Coordinators/Executives, including mentoring, resourcing, and training.
- Defining and updating the services provided by The Hub and communicating these to the broader marketing and business development (MBD) team.
- Setting processes for requesting work through The Hub and embedding these processes within the MBD framework.
- Collaborating with the MBD team to continually improve and streamline processes within The Hub.
- Supporting the creation of a service level agreement between The Hub and the MBD team.
- Managing and setting workflows, distributing, and balancing incoming work across the team.
- Setting and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor service quality.
- Fielding general queries coming into The Hub and utilizing available technologies to streamline services.
- Being accountable for the service provided by The Hub.
In addition, the Operations Manager will support the implementation and management of marketing systems and tools, drive best practices in data management, streamline workflows, and maintain a marketing operations playbook.
Education and Experience Information:
To be considered for the Global Marketing & Business Development Operations Manager position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience in marketing operations, preferably within professional services.
- Strong knowledge of marketing technologies, including CRM, CMS, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with familiarity with reporting tools being desirable.
- A degree, ideally with a qualification in Marketing (CIM) or Project Management.
The role requires a proven ability to develop scalable processes, improve operational efficiency, and manage budgets. Candidates should exhibit excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, alongside a proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. The ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines is essential, as is being professional and confident with all seniority levels.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position includes direct supervisory responsibilities over The Hub team.
Travel:
The position may require limited travel.
Salary Information:
In accordance with pay transparency laws, the law firm has provided an estimated compensation range for this position. At the time of posting, the estimated range is $125,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will be influenced by factors such as relevant experience, skill sets, training, certifications, internal equity, market data, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. The range is based on a full-time work schedule, and additional compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus.
