Summary:
The Intermediate HR Technology & Reporting Analyst position at DLA Piper is a full-time role that focuses on supporting and maintaining the HCM system and other systems backed by the HRT&R team. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, designing and building business processes, ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR operations, processes, and data, as well as experience with an HCM platform such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or Oracle HCM Cloud.

This position can be located in various DLA Piper offices, including New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Austin, Miami, Tampa, Dallas, Short Hills, Phoenix, Raleigh, Boston, Chicago, Reston, San Diego, Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington DC, Atlanta, Baltimore, Houston, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, or Wilmington.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the HR Technology partner supporting various functional areas in Workday, such as Core HR, Benefits, Talent, and Advanced Compensation
- Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Design, configure, test, validate, and implement business process changes in Workday
- Analyze, design, and build custom reports using standard Workday reporting functionality
- Ensure custom reports function as designed based on business requirements
- Provide support for existing custom reports in Workday
- Build and execute testing plans for integrations, security, and annual events
- Maintain master data values in Workday
- Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 2 & 3 issues
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve HR and HCM technology knowledge
- Support the HCM system by researching and resolving problems and unexpected results
- Recommend process and customer service improvements
- Act as a liaison with third parties and other stakeholders
- Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports using appropriate reporting tools
- Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation for training clients and new system users
- Stay updated on current trends in HCM technology
- Participate in user group meetings and conferences
- Other duties as assigned

- Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience participating in system-related projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's degree
Minimum Years of Experience:
- 3 years of experience working with ERP systems, particularly in benefits and payroll functionality

Compensation:
The firm's expected hiring range for this position is $70,336 - $111,837 per year, depending on the candidate's geographic market location. The final compensation offered will also depend on the candidate's experience, skills, education, and overall qualifications. DLA Piper offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k).
