Job Title: Client Manager
Job Responsibilities:
The Client Manager at the law firm is responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction. This involves conducting periodic client meetings and discussions, monitoring client systems, and driving productivity for the assigned client. The role requires proactive management to seek opportunities with clients for strategic portfolio management, including managing client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and scorecards. The Client Manager collaborates closely with operations staff and may provide training within the firm on client-specific directives.
Essential duties include:
- Driving action plans for underperforming client portfolios
- Serving as an escalation contact to ensure client issues are addressed by appropriate teams
- Ensuring clients are informed of changes in processes and procedures
- Partnering with internal teams for timely resolution of client issues and compliance
- Managing client expectations and soliciting feedback on the firm's performance
- Focusing strategically on client satisfaction, maintaining communication, and managing client relationships
- Working to maintain and grow client relationships while ensuring ongoing customer service
- Driving more volume in new and existing states
- Building relationships with client liaisons and maintaining appropriate escalation contacts
- Developing knowledge and understanding of default portfolios in multiple states
- Understanding client scorecards, metrics, SLAs, directives, and best practices
- Keeping abreast of client audits and findings
- Managing client volume trends, market share, and performance
- Attending client calls and assisting in call management
- Partnering with operations to communicate client feedback to the appropriate department
- Conducting weekly or monthly check-in calls with clients
Education and Experience Information:
- 3-5 years of experience in the Default industry is required
- A college degree is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is necessary
- The role requires a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- The candidate must be a strong team player and able to work effectively in a team environment
- The position requires a self-starter with exceptional problem-solving abilities
- The candidate must be able to adjust to the rapid pace of the department and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- The ability to occasionally work evenings or weekends to complete objectives is necessary
- The position requires the ability to travel occasionally (no more than once a quarter)
- Exceptional customer service skills are needed
- Proven excellence in building and maintaining relationships is required
- A strong commitment to quality standards is essential
- Proven prioritization and organizational skills are necessary
- The ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously is required
