Job Responsibilities
Prepare and format legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence.
Maintain and organize case files, indexes, and litigation calendars.
File documents electronically with state and federal courts.
Manage attorney schedules, including coordinating meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and other parties.
Assist with assembling materials for hearings, depositions, and trials, such as exhibits, binders, and witness lists.
Support attorneys with day-to-day administrative tasks including time entry, expense reporting, and document management.
Education and Experience Information
5+ years of relevant experience as a legal secretary or legal assistant
Experience and knowledge of State and Federal court system and filings
First Party Property Insurance experience is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, document management, and client management software systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organized and detail-oriented
Salary Information
Salary Range: $65, - $75,
