Litigation Clerk/Paralegal - Victim Advocacy The candidate's role will be to support the litigation manager in drafting litigation documents, such as complaints, responsive pleadings, motions (and oppositions thereto), and discovery matters, as well as small claims packages that are applicable to ongoing claims. There will be some level of client interaction as well, so you will be a representative of this firm in both your written and verbal communications. Other case related tasks may include drafting lien negotiation correspondence, client introduction letters, and conducting legal research in support of current cases. Experience 1 year (Preferred). The position does not require a paralegal certification, but prior experience in litigation, tort law, personal injury, consumer rights, employment/labor law, or similar area will be given additional consideration. The successful candidate will have, first and foremost, a great attitude, a team-oriented perspective, and a desire to learn and grow within the industry of legal services. Compensation starts at per hour, with year-end bonus availability, and will increase with solid performance and time in the organization.
