Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
The Litigation Paralegal will support practicing litigation defense attorneys within the law firm. The position involves handling a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to, all aspects of the discovery process. Key responsibilities include:

- Managing electronic filing requirements at state and federal courts in California.
- Conducting excellent research and writing.
- Working proactively, independently, and as part of a team.
- Forecasting and calendaring court filings and docket deadlines.
- Organizing, prioritizing, and implementing urgent tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Engaging in all aspects of Workers' Compensation practice.
- Providing excellent written and verbal communication.
- Remaining self-directed, self-motivated, and able to work effectively under tight time constraints.
- Consistently creating and delivering quality work products.
- Demonstrating proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and PDF maker (Nuance or Adobe Pro).
- Navigating the internet efficiently.
- Experience with iManage is a plus.

Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of litigation and personal injury experience. Experience in insurance defense is advantageous, while experience with billing and discovery is mandatory. A Paralegal Certificate is preferred but not required.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Litigation Paralegal position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
