Job Title: Case Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Engage in daily interaction with existing and potential clients, both via telephone and in person, to provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Order and manage medical records from providers, ensuring effective communication with clients and providers throughout the course of treatment.
- Obtain necessary documents to support injury and/or liability positions for each case.
- Interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and documented.
- Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers, as well as negotiate deductions of outstanding medical balances with providers to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
- Maintain organized case files, ensuring all documents and information are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble necessary support for submission to insurance carriers, ensuring all documentation is thorough and accurate.
- Interact with attorneys and present case synopsis when required, providing clear and concise information to support legal proceedings.
- Manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney, ensuring all procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role.
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager is preferred, indicating familiarity with the specific requirements and responsibilities of the position.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred, providing a solid foundation of relevant knowledge and skills.
- Strong negotiating skills are essential to effectively manage settlements and interactions with insurance companies and medical providers.
- Ability to be a team player and follow procedures, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to company protocols.
- Proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers is required, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision, ensuring efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines, demonstrating strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong writing and communication skills are essential, along with attention to detail to ensure accuracy and clarity in all documentation and correspondence.
- Extensive computer and database expertise is required, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to type no less than 35 words per minute.
