Job Title: Case Manager

Job Responsibilities:
- Engage daily with existing and potential clients through telephone and in-person interactions.
- Order and manage medical records from healthcare providers, maintaining communication with both clients and providers throughout treatment.
- Collect necessary documents to support injury and/or liability claims.
- Liaise with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to obtain records and account balances.
- Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and work to reduce outstanding medical balances with providers.
- Collaborate with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files.
- Maintain organized case files for efficient access and management.
- Prepare comprehensive demand packages and assemble supporting documents for submission to insurance carriers.
- Collaborate with attorneys and present case synopses when required.
- Manage case files from initial intake to closing under the direction of an attorney.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the business needs.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred.
- Candidates should possess strong negotiating skills.
- Must be a team player capable of following procedures.
- Proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers is essential.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision is required.
- Candidates should be highly organized and able to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail, are necessary.
- Proficiency in computer and database systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required, with a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
