Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal The candidate will request, review, index, organize and summarize documents produced by other parties and medical health care providers. Prepare demand packages and forward them to the insurance company or defense attorney. Communicate and correspond with the client about case status and preparation. Prepare and file a motion for mediation and notice for trial. Prepare settlement breakdowns. File legal documents with the court. Locate expert witnesses to interview and possibly retain. Keep track of pretrial and trial order deadlines. Draft pretrial and trial motions. Prepare trial exhibits, schedule depositions, etc. Manage a high volume of calendaring, proofreading, case follow-up, and correspondence; and Other related tasks as assigned. Must have a team mentality with a "go-getter" attitude. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to multitask, and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Fluent in English and Spanish.
