A highly regarded Texas-based law firm is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy & Restructuring Attorney to join its dynamic and fast-paced practice group. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional with significant experience in representing distressed borrowers and lenders, particularly in Chapter 11 proceedings. The ideal candidate will be ready to handle complex, high-stakes commercial matters, contribute to ongoing client representation, and grow a personal book of business within a collaborative, cross-disciplinary legal environment.

Duties:
Represent debtors and creditors in Chapter 11 and related bankruptcy matters
Handle both in-court and out-of-court restructurings
Advise distressed borrowers and lenders on legal strategy and risk
Manage complex bankruptcy litigation and negotiations
Collaborate with other practice groups to provide full-service legal support
Develop and maintain client relationships
Contribute to the growth and expansion of the Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group
Requirements:
Significant experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcy representation (debtors and/or creditors)
Complex restructuring experience preferred
Ability to manage a high volume of matters with efficiency and quality
Proven ability to build and maintain a client base
Excellent judgment and interpersonal communication skills
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas or ability to obtain licensure promptly
Skills:
Expertise in bankruptcy law, particularly Chapter 11
Strong negotiation and litigation abilities
Strategic legal analysis and problem-solving
Business development acumen
Effective communication and collaboration across legal disciplines
