A dynamic, nationally recognized law firm is seeking Litigation Associate Attorneys to join its Texas office, located in Austin. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with 1–5 years of experience who are interested in a collaborative, fast-growing firm with a strong emphasis on culture, mentorship, and professional development. Associates will gain hands-on experience in diverse practice areas, including business litigation, general liability, employment, construction defect, and appellate work.

Duties

  • Handle litigation matters across a range of practice areas including business, employment, construction defect, appellate, and general liability

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

  • Attend depositions, court appearances, mediations, and hearings

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on strategy and case development

  • Manage case files and client communication effectively

  • Explore different practice groups to find a long-term fit (for junior associates) or transition into dedicated litigation teams (for mid-level associates)

Requirements

  • Active and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

  • Strong academic background and a demonstrated cultural fit with a collaborative, inclusive work environment

  • Excellent professional references and a stable employment history

  • 1–5 years of relevant litigation experience preferred (not required)

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas

Skills

  • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills

  • Professional and clear communication with clients and team members

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently and independently
