Job Title: Conflicts Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide a team of conflicts analysts in reviewing and resolving conflict checks for new clients, matters, and lateral hires.
- Oversee timely processing of conflicts searches related to new business and lateral hires.
- Communicate results and facilitate clearance with internal stakeholders.
- Assist with the implementation and documentation of ethical walls and screening procedures.
- Regularly communicate with attorneys, practice group leaders, and the General Counsel's Office regarding day-to-day management and approach to conflicts issues and managing risk.
- Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to junior team members.
- Maintain and update internal procedures and best practices.
- Support the integration of conflicts systems used in various workflows.
- Participate in special projects, audits, or initiatives involving compliance, client due diligence, and records management.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree required; . or paralegal experience is a plus but not required.
- 2-5 years of conflicts or compliance experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Familiarity with conflicts of interest and law firm workflow applications, with a preference for experience with the IntApp suite of products.
- Understanding of legal conflicts rules.
- Experience using third-party data publishers to pull and interpret family tree/organizational structure information.
- Demonstrated judgment, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members is a plus.
- Willingness to work closely with stakeholders across the law firm and accommodate occasional after-hours requests.
