Job Title: Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
- The Security Data Loss Prevention Engineer will be responsible for safeguarding the firm and client-sensitive data from data loss or exposure.
- Develop, implement, and administer data loss prevention (DLP) policies to ensure data security.
- Perform analysis and triage of DLP policy violations to maintain data integrity.
- Provide executive-level reporting on DLP incidents to inform stakeholders of data security status.
- Collaborate with technical peers to develop a firmwide strategy for data loss prevention, aligning with technical standards and business needs.

Education and Experience Information:
- Possession of a Computer Science bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft SC-400, AZ-500, MS-900, or CISSP.
- Experience with enterprise DLP technologies, including proficiency in implementing and managing DLP solutions with Microsoft Purview, M365, and Proofpoint technologies is essential.
- Skilled in DLP policy development and management, with the ability to develop, configure, and write DLP policies to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with End-User Behaviour Analytics (EUBA) and Insider Risk Management processes and tools is necessary.
- Experience in analyzing and responding to DLP alerts and incidents, collaborating with the Incident Response team for incident remediation.
- Knowledge of data classification methodologies and associated compliance frameworks is required.
- Understanding of security DLP best practices and frameworks, including GDPR, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations, is important.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills to resolve issues related to DLP endpoint and cloud technologies.
- Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in DLP technologies and continuously improve and tune DLP policies.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to enhance data protection measures.
- Ability to maintain critical thinking and composure under pressure.
- Strong written and oral English communication skills, with the capability to convey complex concepts to non-technical constituents.

Salary Information:
- This position is bonus-eligible and includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits based on the number of hours worked.
- For offices located in New York, Illinois, California, or Washington DC, the US base compensation for this position is expected to be in the range of $120,000-$150,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Specific salary range details for preferred locations can be discussed with the recruiter during the hiring process.
