Job Title: Business Development Specialist – Legal Directories

Job Responsibilities:
The Business Development Specialist – Legal Directories is a pivotal role within the business development team at a global law firm. The primary responsibilities include:

- Assisting with and ensuring timely submissions for legal directories and awards programs, focusing on Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500.
- Leading various submission drafts, coordinating interviews, and managing a rigorous referee process for the firm's global offices across multiple practice areas.
- Adhering to best practices for submissions, which involves developing interview strategies, crafting messaging, collecting relevant matters, and preparing written materials.
- Guiding key stakeholders throughout the submission process.
- Maintaining a comprehensive calendar of deadlines for all relevant directories and awards in different jurisdictions.
- Keeping legal directories updated with the firm’s news and developments.
- Handling internal communications related to rankings, including corrections and inquiries post-publication.
- Collaborating with business development and brand & communications colleagues to leverage directory rankings and awards in the firm's marketing efforts.
- Protecting and maintaining sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information.

Education and Experience Information:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
- Experience in producing submissions for Chambers, Legal 500, and other guides is desirable.

Salary Information:
The position offers a salary range from USD $70, to USD $90, per year. Additionally, successful candidates will receive a generous total compensation package, including bonuses based on individual and firm performance.
