Summary:
- K&L Gates, a leading law firm, is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join their Global Service Desk team in various office locations.
- The Specialist will provide first-line technical support to internal clients and must possess problem-solving and technical skills.

- Key relationships include working closely with internal clients and utilizing firm resources and support groups.
- Essential duties include acting as the initial contact for client inquiries, managing the ticketing system, and continuously seeking opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Additional duties may include application testing and internal projects.
- Experience and skills required include an Associate's Degree, ability to multitask and work under pressure, and prior experience in a professional services organization.
- Additional abilities required include occasional overtime and flexibility in work shifts.
- Compensation salary ranges from $52,400 to $78,600 per year and will be determined during the interview process based on various factors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to internal clients
- Work closely with internal clients and utilize firm resources and support groups
- Act as the initial contact for client inquiries and manage the ticketing system
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency
- Perform entry level system administration and document/update knowledge base articles and internal procedure workflow
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and handle interruptions while maintaining flexibility in work assignments
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact with diverse personalities while maintaining a professional attitude
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or technical school certificate
- Prior experience in a professional services organization desirable
- Previous experience using Service Management tools desirable
- Help Desk Institute certifications desirable
- ITIL v3 Foundations or Microsoft certifications desirable
- Ability to work occasional overtime, holidays, and weekends if needed
- Flexibility to change shifts to meet business needs
- Ability to work in an office setting and use standard office equipment
Salary Information:
- Compensation salary ranges from $52,400 to $78,600 per year
- Salary will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
