Description:

A busy litigation law firm is seeking a full-time paralegal to join their team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive support to attorneys and ensuring the smooth management of cases, from discovery through to trial and settlement.

Job Responsibilities:

- Provide paralegal support to attorneys by drafting and typing documents related to discovery, motions, trials, and settlements.
- Independently draft a variety of case documents pertinent to discovery, motion, trial, and settlement procedures.
- Possess a thorough understanding of documents related to personal injury (Pl) cases.
- Conduct thorough deed and corporate searches.
- Collaborate with experts for inspections and investigative services, facilitate independent medical examinations, and review records.

Education and Experience Information:

Required Qualifications:

- A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury litigation firm, either on the plaintiff or defense side.
- Proficient knowledge of legal terminology, regulations, and court system rules.
- Competency in using MS Office, Excel, and legal technology tools, including court-filing systems and transcription software.
- High proficiency in English, alongside excellent time-management and typing skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Information:

Pay: $61, - $70, per year

The minimum salary is $61K and the maximum salary is $70K, as provided by the employer. The median salary is approximately $66K per year.
