Mass Tort Paralegal The candidate will order, review and summarize medical records for preparing factual response to discovery. Regularly interviewing clients by phone and timely updating them on their legal cases. Review and evaluate cases to prepare for attorney review and filing. Manage the workflow of cases in our case management system. Draft and send correspondence. Draft pleadings including complaints, discovery responses and other pleadings. Offer general assistance to attorneys. Properly and constantly documenting all events and communications. Gather, organize, and analyze critical case data and factual information. Uphold confidentiality of highly-sensitive client information. Serve as a liaison between law firms, medical experts and other parties. Contact Clients and opposing firms regarding examinations under oath and court calendar matters. Assist in trial preparation, including organizing and preparing trial exhibits, trial notebooks and binders. Should have 2+ years of Microsoft and 2+ years of Mass Tort Litigation experience. Experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm setting, preferably a mass tort or personal injury firm is required.
