Paralegal (Franchise / Transactional) The candidate will be responsible for supporting attorneys in franchise registration and transactional matters. Support franchise regulatory attorneys and Senior paralegals in the preparation and filing of franchise registration documents, including communicating with state regulators. Transactional work includes preparing franchise agreements, default and termination notices, merger and acquisition transactions, franchise transfers, due diligence, preparing closing binders, and such other work. Should have 2+ years of experience as a paralegal with a private law firm of 10 attorneys or more or with a company performing transactional/contracting tasks. A paralegal certificate is not required. Must be adept in word processing and use of MS Office 2016 or later. Must be proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Internet search engines and research tools. Experience with Time Matters and PC Law.
