Job Title: Philanthropic Solutions Area Manager
Job Responsibilities:
At Company, the Philanthropic Solutions Area Manager is responsible for leading a team of professionals who specialize in serving the unique administrative, investment, and risk-mitigation needs of the nonprofit community and charitable products. The primary responsibilities include:
- Utilizing a high level of expertise to lead a team of specialists in the Philanthropic Solutions vertical.
- Acting as a Philanthropic Solutions subject matter expert for all of Wealth Management, partnering across the footprint for key initiatives.
- Serving as a leader in the community and networking with prospective clients.
- Actively marketing business solutions internally and externally, which includes administrative, fiduciary, and investment management services.
- Involvement in new business development strategies and retention of existing client relationships, maintaining a strong focus on prudent revenue growth.
- Assigning accounts and ensuring relationships are managed according to policies and procedures, so satisfactory audits and service standards are met.
- Acting as a resource to answer questions, review documents, and negotiate fees.
- Developing and coaching team members in all relationship development and client experience efforts.
- Maintaining strong relationships with bank partners and other centers of influence.
- Possibly managing account relationships.
- Recruiting, hiring, developing, coaching, and managing their team, ensuring Company is building the best team through proper staffing levels and diligent succession planning.
- Ensuring prudent risk management strategies are in place and business practices comply with internal and external policies, guidelines, and regulations.
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. It is also incentive eligible.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Ten (10) years of Trust experience, preferably in Philanthropic Solutions.
- Preferences include a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD), professional designations and/or certifications, previous Investment Management or Philanthropic Solutions experience, management experience, and Charitable Trust experience.

- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships internally and externally.
- Proven and effective sales techniques.
- Skilled in applicable computer software, such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Subject matter expert in Philanthropic Solutions.
Salary Information:
Pay ranges are job-specific and provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Factors impacting individual pay include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance in the job role, resulting in varying pay among individuals within the same job. The job range target is as follows:
- Minimum: $140, USD
- Median: $182, USD
Incentive Pay Plans:
This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan, with the potential to earn incentives based on performance against defined metrics and goals. There is also an opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
