Job Title: Motions Processor
Job Responsibilities:
- Review daily reports to ensure efficient and timely handling of files.
- Prepare, process, and file motions, orders, notices of hearing, adequate protection orders, responses to motions to sell, and motions to approve loan modifications/deferrals/partial claims.
- Send and monitor declarations/affidavits in support of motions, assignments, meet and confer letters, and motions for client approval.
- Perform SCRA searches and manage 48-hour hearing statuses.
- Set up local counsel and process hearing results.
- Process ECF notifications and attorney paper mail.
- Update client systems as required.
- Handle calls, faxes, emails, payment histories, disputes, attorney assignments, and debtor checks.
- Provide support to management and attorneys.
- Assist with additional projects as needed.
Education and Experience Information:
- required.
- Previous law firm experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with attorneys.
- Ability to interpret client systems is necessary.
- Proficiency in software tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet is required.
- Must be organized and capable of multi-tasking.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
