## Associate Attorney – Orange County Office

**Members Only** is a premier California labor and employment law firm that is looking for an experienced Associate Attorney to join their Orange County office. This opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the freedom to take on significant levels of responsibility, client interaction, and leadership roles at the firm.

### Qualifications

* 2-7 years of experience in labor and employment law defense litigation in California
* Class action experience is preferable
* Litigation experience in California is preferable
* Highly motivated with excellent writing, analytical, and people skills
* Valuing a team environment
* Prepared to work independently and assume significant responsibilities
* Bilingual abilities are a plus
* Juris Doctor
* Must have a California bar license
* During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice

### Responsibilities

* Pre-complaint investigation
* Case analysis and strategy drafting
* Responding to discovery
* Taking and defending depositions
* Motions and other court appearances
* Administrative matters before the DLSE, NLRB, DFEH, OSHA, and other agencies
* Union negotiations and relations
* Assisting in arbitration and trials
* Mediations, counseling, and advice work
* Client development and recruitment
* Legal research and writing on a wide variety of areas
* Single-plaintiff EEO litigation
* PAGA and class action wage and hour litigation
