Faegre Drinker, a leading law firm, is seeking an Analyst to join our Unclaimed Property Team. This is a remote position that can be based in any of our offices in the United States. We are looking for someone with experience in accounting, preferably in an office setting or at a professional services organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to client service, the ability to collaborate in a team, and excellent communication skills.
As an Analyst, you will work closely with our Unclaimed Property team to ensure that voluntary submissions related to a company's unclaimed property meet state requirements. This includes managing the State of Delaware's voluntary disclosure program and assisting with compliance efforts in other states. You will have the opportunity to work with nationally recognized colleagues and receive mentorship and professional development support. The initial annual salary range for this position is $50,000 - $69,500, and it is a non-exempt role paid on an hourly basis. Actual compensation may vary depending on skills, experience, and location. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with professionals within the Unclaimed Property team to ensure compliance with state requirements
- Manage the State of Delaware's voluntary disclosure program and assist with compliance efforts in other states
- Work with a diverse team dedicated to unclaimed property compliance programs
- Maintain a strong commitment to client service and professionalism
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Problem solve and use sound judgement in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, General Business, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an office setting or at a professional services organization
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and across offices
- Positive and professional attitude
- Strong sense of urgency and dedication to producing quality work
