Job Title: Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
As a Full-Time Paralegal specializing in medical malpractice, your primary responsibilities include the meticulous organization and review of case files to support the attorneys effectively. You will leverage your expertise in medical malpractice to draft and prepare pleadings, manage discovery requests, and coordinate subpoenas and authorizations to gather critical medical records. Your role involves close collaboration with the legal team to summarize depositions, analyze documents, and ensure that cases remain on track and meet critical deadlines. The role requires attention to detail and technical skills to drive the success of the firm.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should have at least one (1) year of litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice. A solid academic background is essential, along with strong research and writing skills. The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines is crucial for success in this role. Proficiency in MS Office and PDF software like Nuance Power PDF is required, as well as experience with Bates stamping, combining/separating files, and editing PDFs.
Salary Information:
