Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative and secretarial duties for attorneys in the General Liability department
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical files
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and depositions
- Assist with trial preparation and document management
- Conduct legal research and compile information for cases
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a law firm or legal department
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Excellent typing and grammar skills
- Ability to work well in a team or independently
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and document management software
- Familiarity with e-filing and scanning
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
