Job Title: NJ PIP Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:
- Handle New Jersey PIP (No-Fault/Personal Injury Protection) arbitration cases, focusing on fee scheduling as per the NJ PIP Fee Schedule.
- Manage NJ Workers' Compensation medical provider claims cases and NJ Commercial (ER/Surprise bill) Arbitrations (IDRs) as well as NY Commercial (ER/Surprise bill) Arbitrations (IDRs).
- For NJ Workers' Compensation cases, manage appeals of newly referred cases and file matters via NJ eCourts WC Portal (CourtsOnline).
- Support attorneys by preparing motions, assembling discovery/interrogatory responses, and preparing exemplar EOB/comp “proof” packages for settlement demands.
- For NJ Commercial Arbitrations, handle appeals, assemble submission briefs, and file matters via the Maximus portal.
- Communicate with clients to confirm additional payments and gather required information.
- Monitor the Maximus portal for decisions and requests for additional information.
- For NY IDR Commercial Arbitrations, manage appeals, assemble submission briefs, and file matters via the NY DFS portal.
- Prepare briefs, assemble UCR (usual, customary, reasonable) evidence, create "fee schedule" charts, and communicate with clients for input.
- For NJ PIP cases, manage appeals of newly referred cases and file matters via the NY Forthright portal.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum of two years of relevant paralegal experience.
- Strong understanding of NJ PIP Fee Schedule and arbitration processes.
- Experience with NJ Workers' Compensation and medical provider claims.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, and EOBs.
- Ability to manage cases efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment.

Salary Information:
- Annual pay is between $65,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience.
