Job Title: Legal Secretary
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle files and client billing from beginning to end under the supervision of an attorney.
- Perform administrative tasks such as managing documents, organizing files, and scheduling.
- Utilize basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and document management systems.
- Conduct internet searches and research as required.
- Maintain good organizational and time management skills to ensure efficient workflow.
- Exhibit a personable demeanor while working independently.
- Bilingual capability is considered an asset.
- Experience with billing software, such as Harvest, is preferred.
Education and Experience Information:
- Law firm experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Experience with billing software is advantageous.
Salary Information:
- Pay is per hour.
- Salary is commensurate with experience.
- No benefits are offered with this position.
