- Apply detailed knowledge of professional methods to produce, review and analyze conflict of interest reports
- Ensure client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of the position
- Review conflict reports and identify potential conflicts issues
- Conduct factual research to identify conflicts issues, including determining if relevant matters have been closed and identifying affiliate relationships
- Independently analyze the report with limited guidance
- Summarize the results of conflicts analysis in writing
- Create ethical walls upon request as appropriate
- Assist with maintenance of waiver letter file and retrieve/send waiver letters to attorneys upon request
- Consistently promote and model the Firm's Client Service Principles
- Ensure compliance with the Firm's Information Handling Policy
- One year of conflicts or legal assistant experience required
- High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills required
- Willingness to learn law regarding conflict of interest issues essential
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with law firm conflicts systems and Microsoft Word preferred

MoFo Law Firm is seeking a Conflicts Analyst (Lateral) to join their growing Conflicts & New Business Department in San Francisco. In this role, you will apply your detailed knowledge of professional methods to produce, review, and analyze conflict of interest reports while ensuring client service and satisfaction. As a Conflicts Analyst, you will review conflict reports, conduct factual research, and independently analyze reports with limited guidance. You will also create ethical walls, assist with maintenance of the Firm's waiver letter file, and ensure compliance with the Firm's Information Handling Policy.

If you have one year of conflicts or legal assistant experience and strong communication and analytical skills, we want to hear from you! A high school diploma is required, but a Bachelor's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will also have a willingness to learn about conflict of interest issues and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Familiarity with law firm conflicts systems and Microsoft Word is a plus.
