Summary:

This individual will be responsible for supervising daily activities of department personnel and ensuring operational needs are met. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least eight years of related experience, and four years of supervisory experience. The starting base salary for this position is expected to be between $105,000 and $115,000, depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities of Facility Management Supervisor:

- Stay updated on firm policies, industry trends, and professional development for business services professionals.
- Recommend guidelines and practices to promote efficiency, effectiveness, and excellent customer service in alignment with the firm's core values.
- Develop and communicate departmental guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to departmental service requests.
- Monitor time, attendance, overtime, and expense reports for accuracy and compliance with firm policies.
- Coordinate and oversee department projects, day-to-day operations, and long-range plans.
- Recommend and implement changes and improvements in methods and procedures to higher-level management.
- Manage department finances and stay within budget.
- Coordinate with building staff.
- Participate in the hiring, selection, and training process.
- Effectively utilize the firm's performance management process to communicate expectations, monitor performance, and manage unsatisfactory performance.
- Oversee employee work performance and provide guidance in problem resolution.
- Initiate disciplinary procedures in collaboration with the Human Resources Department.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills to build relationships and facilitate work with others.
- Manage firm resources responsibly.
- Comply with firm operations, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of facility management field and procedures.
- Current knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and techniques.
- Proficiency in relevant firm computer software programs.
- Ability to handle complex issues and duties independently.
- Knowledge of the annual budget process.
- Effective supervision and delegation skills.
- Ability to defuse tense situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.
- Ability to administer firm policies and procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality.

Education and Experience:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum eight years of related experience and four years of supervisory experience, including performance management evaluations.

Salary Information:
