Job Title: Transactional Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and administer legal documents such as management agreements, commercial leases, amendments, legal notices, DBA forms, and corporate/business documents.
- Coordinate the intake and internal review process for service contracts and commercial leases, while maintaining accurate information in internal databases.
- Review and maintain condominium information, including documents, contact information, and annual budget deadlines.
- Manage the uploading, updating, and maintenance of business licenses within the company’s internal databases, and distribute them to relevant contacts as needed.
- Perform invoicing tasks, including coding, logging, and weekly uploading to both third-party and internal databases.
- Communicate key upcoming decisions with internal stakeholders, coordinating signatures and approvals as necessary.
- Prepare reports for internal stakeholders regarding important real property, corporate, and business licensing information and dates upon request.
- Conduct legal research on law sources such as statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, and media relevant to business operations, licensing, and pending legal issues.
- Handle general duties and administrative responsibilities as required.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of two to five years of paralegal or document management experience, preferably in real estate or contract law.
- Strong knowledge of computer programs, including WestLaw, Legal Tracker, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Adobe Pro.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to work independently or as a team player.
- Paralegal certificate preferred.
