Job Responsibilities
The Corporate Counsel at T-Mobile will play a crucial role in supporting the Legal Department's initiatives related to Strategic Transactions, Emerging Products, and Messaging. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging and collaborating with outside counsels to ensure comprehensive legal support.
- Working with internal clients to structure, prepare, discuss, determine, and finalize agreements and letters of intent.
- Acting as a specialist and key resource for driving the overall legal framework, including developing various policies and providing training to internal clients on legal issues as needed.
- Counseling and guiding business clients on a wide variety of sophisticated and developing issues.
- Supporting senior attorneys with project work, including conducting research and analysis.
Education and Experience Information
Candidates for the Corporate Counsel position should possess the following qualifications:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited university with outstanding academic credentials.
- A minimum of 2 years, with a preference for 5+ years, of experience as a business attorney. This experience should include relevant in-house and/or top law firm transitional experience.
- The ability to lead projects and other initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Experience in researching sophisticated legal matters.
- Skills in mentoring and leading others informally in areas of expertise.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with other legal and business professionals efficiently.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and drafting skills.
- A keen business sense with excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- The ability to operate independently and effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong prioritization skills, execution, and results orientation with a passion for success.
- The ability to work efficiently, meet goals, and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A desire and ability to work as part of a team.
Salary Information
The base pay range for the Corporate Counsel position at T-Mobile is $123,200 - $222,200. The actual pay for a successful candidate will be based on various factors like work location, qualifications, and experience, leading to variations within this range. Additionally, T-Mobile offers a Corporate Bonus Target of 15%.

Most corporate employees can receive a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance, which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings from the prior year.
